Farragut is a different kind of project than the rest of Knox County, and we've been doing exterior work in your neighborhoods for years. Bigger lots. Newer builds. HOA standards on materials and colors. Homeowners who tend to know exactly what they want — and what they don't. We come prepared.
Most of our Farragut work falls into three buckets: full-elevation siding replacement on 1990s and early-2000s homes where the original LP SmartSide or vinyl is aging out, big window replacement projects on two-story foyers, bay windows, and south-facing elevations, and roof replacements on the 25-year-old asphalt shingles that came with a lot of these neighborhoods. Every one of these is a real return on investment, and we'll walk you through the trade-offs honestly before you commit.
What we do most often in Farragut
Siding replacement on aging LP SmartSide and vinyl
A lot of Farragut homes from the late 1990s and early 2000s were built with LP SmartSide engineered wood siding. It's a solid product when it's installed and maintained correctly, but after 20+ years many of those installs are starting to show issues at trim, around windows, and along the bottom edges. The fix is either spot repair or full re-side — and full re-side is usually the smarter long-term move once moisture has gotten behind multiple boards.
Our most common Farragut recommendation: James Hardie fiber cement for full-elevation re-sides where the homeowner wants a 30-year solution that won't need to be revisited. For homes where budget matters more than longevity, we'll quote vinyl side-by-side so you can see what each option actually costs. We're certified on both Hardie and LP SmartSide, so we install whichever you choose to the manufacturer's specs.
Replacement windows for big elevations
Farragut floor plans often feature big two-story foyer windows, bay windows in master suites, and long banks of south-facing glass on the back of the house. These are the windows where an Energy Star upgrade actually shows up on your power bill. We're certified installers for Simonton and Wincore, and for the typical Farragut home with 20-30 window openings, the difference between builder-grade and a real Low-E argon-filled package is measurable on summer cooling loads.
For a typical Farragut window replacement project (24 windows, mix of double-hung and casement), expect $15,000-$28,000 installed depending on the window line you choose. We'll come out, measure, and put together two or three options so you can compare instead of guessing.
Roof replacements on 25-year-old shingles
If your Farragut home was built between 1995 and 2005, your original asphalt roof is at or past its expected service life. We do a lot of full tear-off and replacement with CertainTeed or GAF architectural shingles, which carry warranties up to 50 years for the material itself when installed by a certified contractor. We're certified with both manufacturers.
What we won't do: storm-chase. If a hailstorm comes through and you get five contractors knocking on your door the next day, none of those people are us. We're here for the long haul, and the warranty call ten years from now matters more than a quick claim today.
Farragut neighborhoods we work in
We've put crews on projects across most of Farragut: Concord, Fox Den, Whittington Creek, Andover, Sweetbriar, Village Green, Belleaire, and the newer developments off Watt Road and Northshore Drive. Both Farragut zip codes (37922 and 37934) are home turf to us now — we're not new to the area, we're just being more direct about working out here.
What to expect when you call
The drive from our shop in Fountain City to most Farragut neighborhoods is about 30 minutes. It doesn't change how we work. Same office number ((865) 689-0505) for warranty questions ten years from now. Same straightforward quote process: we come out, we measure, we listen, we leave you with a written proposal. No high-pressure sales, no one-day-only pricing, no “manager specials.”
We'll be honest about whether we're the right fit for the project. If it's a tiny repair we can't price out competitively, we'll tell you and often point you to someone we'd trust to handle it.
